SUMMIT, NJ – On Monday, April 30, 2018, Summit Residents Drew Maldonado and Jude Avelino were honored by the Suburban Chamber of Commerce for their fundraising efforts on behalf of the new Community Center. The Dynamic Duo received the Citizen of the Year Award as they were instrumental in raising more than $1.5 million for the project. This center will be the home to athletic programs, special needs programs and Senior Citizen events. Well-deserved honor! There is still time to get involved with the project.
