Mikhail Sterlin is an Associate Attorney at Avelino Law, LLP, where he focuses on estate and trust litigation. He has a broad range of litigation experience including insurance coverage and complex commercial litigation.  An experienced litigator, Mikhail represents clients at all stages of the legal process, from pre-suit consultation through settlement negotiations and trial proceedings. He regularly appears for oral arguments, case management conferences, and arbitration hearings on behalf of clients.

Early in his career, he was recognized by Northeast New Jersey Legal Services for his commitment to providing pro-bono expungement services. He was selected to the New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Stars for 2026
