Caroline L. Bucci is a partner at Avelino Law, LLP. She merged her trust and estate practice with Avelino Law, LLP in March 2022.

Ms. Bucci advises clients in all aspects of estate planning and trust and estate administration. She develops and implements sophisticated estate plans tailored to each client’s specific objectives, with the goal of minimizing taxes and preserving and protecting wealth. By utilizing various trusts, business agreements and charitable arrangements, Ms. Bucci establishes structures to minimize income, gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer taxes. She works closely with family offices, financial advisors, accountants, insurance advisors and valuation professionals to effectuate and maintain clients’ objectives. She prepares estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax returns and advises clients on related issues.

In addition to estate planning for individuals, Ms. Bucci works with business owners to create comprehensive business succession plans structured to transfer ownership and management to the next generation in a tax-efficient manner while maintaining family harmony. She is well versed in the estate planning issues relating to divorce and works in collaboration with matrimonial counsel to achieve the best outcome possible.

Ms. Bucci also represents and advises individuals and financial institutions in all aspects of the administration of trusts and estates.

Admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, Ms. Bucci is a graduate of St. John Fisher College (Summa Cum Laude) and Pace University School of Law.
