During law school, Ms. Duckworth was a published writer and Note Editor on the Washington & Lee Journal of Civil Rights & Social Justice, Co-President of the Tax Law Society, and served as a Burks Scholar. She also worked for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the Division of Corporation Finance and the Sullivan County District Attorney’s Office.
Following law school, Ms. Duckworth served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Vito L. Bianco, a Senior Tax Court Judge to Morris and Sussex Counties in New Jersey. Ms. Duckworth’s clerkship encompassed appeals of tax decisions made by County Boards of Taxation and appeals on decisions made by the Director of the Division of Taxation on such matters as state income, sales and business taxes, and homestead rebates.
Ms. Duckworth is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
